Hi,

I like to kickstart the usage of this list with some concrete topic.
The issue that I found after a fresh Foresight Linux 1.4 install is
already filed as bug #FL356
http://issues.foresightlinux.org/browse/FL-356 which means that a user
selects a keyboard setting in Anaconda which then isnt reflected in
the xorg.conf or in the user view its just that keys are not in the
right place in GNOME.

I think this is a very bad situation so i consider this the #1 bug for
our team. So I request from all of you that you help solving this
issue. Lets carry all knowledge that we have and put it here and in
the JIRA bug.

First we should understand this bug:
 * Anaconda is our installer - it requests the keyboard and language
from the user.
 * Question? Where does it put this information?
 * How is xorg.conf generated? Is the information of Anaconda not
used? If so why?
 * What do we need to change to add this information so that every
user gets the keyboard that he selected?

Please also talk to other Foresighters who might know more - like the
ones who worked on the Xorg cconfiguration of Anaconda. Which was Ken
I guess? Ken are you on this list? (guess so)

I also like to encourage you to open new topics for localization and
internationalization issues that you found in Foresight or open bugs.

I have edited our team workspace:
http://issues.foresightlinux.org/confluence/x/ag

Now added a nice logo ;) and an overview of all issues we have.

cu,

Thilo
