Betreff: [Foresight-commits] Foresight and the partition
Dear memners of the foresight team,
I have the following problem:
I have on my PC 2 harddisks (1xMaster, 1x Slave).
On both disks I have a foresight installation. First I installed
Foresight on the slave HD as having Win XP on the Master HD.
Then I Installed Foresight linux on the Master HD as I had grave
problems with Win XP.
The problem I have is, that the installation on the Master HD does not
recognize the installation on the Slave HD. I also miss a way to find a
setting change to a root master user with admin rights - even after
updating the software. This I hoped being accustomed to by my
experiences with SuSE as well as Knoppix.
If there is a way to get the data on the slave HD you can advice me to
follow I would be glad. If there's a further posibility to insert the
slave HD-installation into the boot loader Syslinux, I would be glad
about a detailed instruction how to do this.
Seeing with any thanks for an answer foreward,
Andreas Bichweiler
