With Foresight 2 development about to enter beta stage, we need some
help with testing. The fl:2-devel branch is being updated to fl:2-qa
and will be ready for testing later this week.

As Foresight is developed, packages are created in rMake in 2-devel,
and when ready, are promoted to 2-qa for testing by the QA team. Once
testing is complete, packages are then promoted to Foresight 2.0 for
general use.

To join the QA team and help out please add your name to this wiki
page: https://wiki.foresightlinux.org/display/DEV/Quality+Assurance

Documentation for changing to the 2-qa label will be coming soon.

Meantime, we need some testing of some basic use cases a normal user
would try and use Foresight for, including:

Importing photos (Currently semi-broken)
Importing and playing music
Watching movies
Creating GPG / SSH keys
Using instant messaging and IRC with Pidgin
And more needed... (email, web browsing with Epiphany and / or
Firefox, connecting to wired and wireless networks, updating your
system all come to mind, and I'm sure I'm missing more).

I've started a Use Case page on the wiki under QA at:
https://wiki.foresightlinux.org/display/DEV/Use+Cases

I've also written basic use cases for Photos and Music, and the rest
need to be written. If people could leave comments or edit the page
after testing with their feedback, the help would be appreciated.

Please let me know if you have any questions, or add more use cases
and the corresponding details to the wiki.

Thanks!

Paul
