[Foresight-distro] license confusion

wel, its me again. i checked some of the web-sites & found this:

1.) Fedora Core: distributed under its own EULA (Free Software
compatible)
2.) FreeBSD : released under BSD license
3.) Arch Linux: distributed under GPLv2
4.) Debian GNU/Linux: distributed under Debina Free Software Guidelines
5.) Foresight LInux: no information on License (may be a hidden license)

i am asking because i really liked Foresight & i tried it once &
iwanto run it but still no information about its license. i was told
by someone earlier on this list that Foresight packages are
distributed under MIT license, fine & what about the distribution
itself?

i used its CD-writing app, didn't remember the name but it shows me
the 4 options when i try to create an image of data CD:

x (safest)
iso
y
z

i chose the 1st option, safest, & it created its own ".bin" format.
who knows what that format is & what license that format carries?
should i give this CD image to my friend without knowing that wheteher
this carries a Free Software format or an "mp3" like patent format
created to put users into the jail :-(

ever used Windows. what happens when you install all different kinds
of prop. softwares on it . you see "options" like (safest), (best),
(high quality) & (most recommended). these tags are the signs of
proprietary-licenses. in my experience they never created a good
quality product as ouput. all they wanted is to lock the user into
their firm-grip. purely legal.

i am not arguing, i am explaining my Foresight experience & that is
similar to using Windows. i searched th whole web-site & thereis no
explanation of under whihc license Foresight is distributed. only the
licenses-list related to packages is availabe.

i am not angry, nothing like that, just want some clarity.

thanks
