ok, i hope you know by now that i am quite weak on *law* concepts :-(

i did check this one too: http://www.opensource.org/licenses/mit-license.php
MIT license is much like BSD license. i will respond within 5-6 days
if i will want to work with Foresight community. BTW, i prefer GPL &
as a friend of an Indian author & an editor i find FDL to be perfect
license for most of pulications on *technical terms*. (Notice, i am
not talking of Freedom, my analytical issues are purely technical. i
know it is not relevent to our communication but i just wanted to
pass it, along the way, to you)
