[Foresight-devel] Foresight e17 edition

Hi, Foresight users,

Some of you may know I'm looking into packaging e17 for Foresight,
which I intend to begin next week.

I'm mainly looking to judge interest in an e17 edition of foresight.

Obviously e17 is, by nature, a less-than-polished (as yet) Desktop
Environment, but there seem to be plenty of distributions using it so
far.

Generally the plan is to use the e17 snapshots for a while and then
over some more regular period pull from subversion, fix any issues in
a personal mercurial repository and snapshot that via recipe, which
would allow us to be ahead of other distributions in our distribution
of e17.

So, who is interested in having it?

Furthermore would anyone consider helping out when I start to get
developing on it?

It's not got quite the same level of class as a GNOME or KDE desktop,
but it's certainly enjoyable to use and showcases a lot of excellent
technology. Oh and it's written by people who are highly concerned
with optimisation :)
