It is open source... the source is open for viewing and modification, and
project owners welcome anyone to participate in the project and submit
patches. They just ask, as those who operate under GPL, that individuals
redistribute it under the terms of the license. Are you saying there is
more to "open source" than opening the source for others to customize for
their own use?
