that announcement was a little premature because it turns out that i
don't need anything to cook packages except rmake. since right now i am
mostly porting stuff from fl:1 there is no need for me to cook anything
locally.
for those interested i do have a group-devel-base that i used during
fl:1 that may be useful as a starting point:
